It’s that time of year again to remind you to stay hydrated. Especially with summer approaching, it is extremely important to make sure you do not experience dehydration.
Signs of dehydration:
Bad Breath
Fatigue
Not Sweating
Headaches
Stiffness
Hearburn
Chapped lips
Dark Urine
This is not a complete list, but an idea of what you can experience when dehydrated. Water is essential.
Some alternative beverages can actually abet dehydration. Such as sugary drinks, sodas and energy drinks. Be mindful of what your children are drinking when at the beach or playing outside.
As the warm summer months approach, I encourage you to research the full list of effects from dehydration and make it a conscous decision to increase your Water intake.
Make it a challenge or find a cool encouraging water bottle, just do it. Your health matters! You Matter!
